Tony Hua

I began wrestling at 10 years old and fell in love with the grappling arts. At 16 years old I trained wushu under Sifu Mendoza until I started college at the university of Iowa. At U of I, I began watching grappling tapes and training with a ragtag group of guys in the gym. All through college we trained almost every night and competing in illegal underground fights. After college I moved to California in 2001 where I began training with Master Erik Paulson. In early 2000s I was fortunate to also train under Master Chris Poznick and Professor Rey Diogo. In 2008 I continued my Jiu jitsu under Master Bob Bass who awarded me my Black Belt in 2015.
