My two main instructors are Dr. Toby Vogt, and Mr. Pat Tray at Trident MMA. As a soldier, I have trained BJJ all over the world Ft Bragg, NC; Ft Lewis, WA; Yokota AB, Japan; Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Alexandria, Virginia. I have trained while deployed in the Philippines, Malaysia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I started BJJ late (37 years old), and was promoted in 2019 (57 years old). It only took 20 years to reach my goal of BJJ black belt! I currently train at Trident MMA.
